Collective worship is the daily heartbeat of our school and gives us the opportunity to live and learn about our values. We see collective worship as an opportunity for children and adults to encounter faith and to understand and experience Christianity. We follow the guidence from the Church of England, which is included below and all worship at helme C of E Academy is Inclusive, Invitational and Inspiring.
All our pupils, adults and amilies are at differnt stages with their faith and spirituality and our worship is always inclusive, giving everyone the opportunity to reflect and take an active role in the coversations.
We provide the opportunity for children and families of all faiths and those who state no religious faith to be included and take part in the coversations and activities. Children and adults are invitied to join in with prayer and always offered the opportunity for quiet reflection.
At Helme C of E Academy we follow a yearly plan of insiring, spiritual and Chrisitian which encourages children to ask questions and reflect on themselves, their community and the wider world and to become champions of causes which are important to them.
